As we begin the second year of the pandemic, the highlight of my day may very well be walking my dog, Fiona. I live in a beautiful lively neighborhood that is a mix of vintage apartment buildings and century old gracious single family homes, as well as Lake Michigan 3 blocks away. This painting is a capture of my brain memory of the people and buildings I pass on a daily basis with certain elements built up with layers of cardboard.
